Never been to the Pernin Ranch for dinner? Whoa, well then, this book might have to do you!
One of ... if not "the" .... finest and most consistent of the 'cowboy" dining halls (or dining pastures, more correctly). World class without a stitch of pretense. Yes, it is a fancy smanchy cookbook, pictures and all ... but it is the heart (and yes, that does get served there from time to time) and soul of great western dining.
Cannot recommend both the restaurant and the book any more highly.
